This €multi-million programme aligned the company’s European markets to a consistent back-office blueprint incorporating common integration, test automation and release processes.
Key deliverables included:
Significant Group Capex & Opex reduction through the streamlining and reduction of 11 independent and localised development, testing, releases of new product features and enhancements to a single consolidated operating framework and in doing so, enabling the incremental deployment of new features every six weeks instead of 1-2 per year.
We began by identifying, articulating and refining the company’s transformation strategy into a clear, effective technology roadmap that would help them achieve their core business objectives.
Having secured approval, we assembled a team of 60 across the UK, Europe, the US and India.
Our work included managing and delivering major programmes such as business intelligence and data warehousing, digital assets and supply chain solutions, and deploying a global royalties system.

Phase 1 of the program was delivered in six months, including codifying the Top 1,500 UK & USA artists’ intellectual rights, integrated with the entire catalogue of media assets, and commercial delivery to a combination of digital channels and platforms, including iTunes. This program fell within the Top 3 strategic initiatives and was referenced during the sale of the Group to another global music business.
Operating across 13 countries, these programmes included the launch of B2B mobile, data, voice, cloud, security, online and care products and services for customers ranging from SME to SoHo.
Introducing and extending these core business products and services across thirteen counties enabled this global giant to move closer to its strategic vision of becoming the leading network service provider to business customers in each of its operating markets.
This €multi-million programme involved programme leadership, solution design, technical project management, commercial negotiations with core suppliers, and business change and testing services.

Phase 1 was delivered within eight months, enabling Sales, Customer Care and Order Management to operate from the new system; plus a new target operating model was designed and implemented, enabling fundamental transformations to be realised.

The program delivered ahead of schedule, improved first-time fault resolution from just 10% to over 65%, increased customer satisfaction by 30%, and cut operational costs by 25%.
Driving and managing the project’s technical direction, we were responsible for procurement, delivery, and fit-out of all broadcast, IT, core infrastructure, and enterprise systems for the company’s new locations, with connectivity to a shared studio complex.
Departments involved in this ambitious £multi-million project included news, sport, drama, comedy and entertainment.

Working to a fixed deadline, we were able to plan, procure and commence the technical fit-out of technology and broadcast facilities within the new purpose-built buildings. This work was later taken through to completion by permanent staff within the organisation.
